Academic Research:
Prof. Xiang’e Han has been engaged in the study of laser detecting technology and electromagnetic wave (light) propagation and scattering characteristics since 1980s, and has been in charge of or participated in more than 20 national and ministerial level research projects, including research on phased-array lidar technology, research of the theory and experiment of partially coherent optical communication in atmospheric channel, simulation of transmission characteristics of laser through atmospheric / space channels. Outstanding achievements have been made in the research of the target laser characteristics, and the basic theory of particle size measurement and its application. More than 60 academic papers were published in leading journals in the field of optics at home and abroad, such as Phys. Rev. E, Appl. Opt, Opt. Commun., J. Opt. Soc. Am. A, J.Q.S.R.T..
