Alexander Stanoyevitch is professor at California State University,Dominguez Hills. Majored in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, he got his bachelor's degree from Maryland University in 1983, master's degree and doctor's degree from Michigan University in 1986 and 1990, respectively. Professor Stanyevitch authored 4 books and published more than 20 high level scientific papers.

课程简介（中英文）：本课程包含两部，第一部分介绍R统计计算平台和展示如何使用它来清洁数据和获取各种图形和统计摘要。第二部分将展示如何运行模拟,获得高质量的估计概率,期望值和条件概率。

The course will consist of two interconnect parts. In the first part of this course we will introduce the R statistical computing platform and show how to use it to clean data and to obtain various graphical and statistical summaries. The second part will show how to run simulations to obtain good quality estimates of probabilities, expected values, and conditional probabilities. Oftentimes in mathematics, an exact answer is difficult or impossible to obtain directly, and simulations are a great tool in such common cases.
