Dr Jiafeng Zhang obtained her Bachelor of Engineering degree from Xidian University, China in 2008, Joint PhD degree from Xidian University, China & Saarland University, Germany in 2015. Her research interests include dynamic reconfigurable systems, discrete event system and supervisory control theory, coordination control of networked systems, automata and Petri nets, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerance control, operation planning and scheduling with applications in intelligent manufacturing. In the aforementioned areas she has 14 journal and conference publications, 2 granted China patents, 1 software copyright, and has been involved in several projects sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and National Key R&D Program of China. Dr Zhang is a member of IEEE and CAA. She is a reviewer for several renowned journals and conferences on control theory and technologies.
