Profile:
Anthony Trioux received his MSc and PhD degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Université Polytechnique de Hauts-de-France (UPHF, UMR CNRS 8520), France, in 2015 and 2019, respectively.
From 2019 to 2020, he served as an Assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering at the Centrale Lille Institute; from 2020 to 2022, he was an Associate professor at the Université Polytechnique de Hauts-de-France/INSA Hauts-de-France. Currently, he is an Associate professor at Xidian University, School of Telecommunications Engineering.
My research directions mainly focus on multimedia processing and transmission, including but not limited to linear video coding and transmission, video communication error correction methods, ultra-low latency transmission systems, metaverse and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR), etc.
He has participated in a number of French national-level projects and has published more than 20 high-level academic papers in renowned international journals and conferences. He has been invited to give 3 tutorials in internationally renowned conferences in the field of video processing (IEEE VCIP, ICECS and EUSIPCO). He also delivered two keynote speeches and is a member of the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG).
He has established extensive and friendly cooperations with many international universities, including Centrale-Supélec Paris, Télécom ParisTech Institute, École de Technologie Supérieure Montréal, Canada, University of Padua, Italy, University of Tampere, Finland, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Mid-Sweden University and Linköping University, Sweden, etc.
He serves as a technical committee member and/or review board member for several international peer-reviewed journals and conferences (e.g., Signal Processing: Image Communication, IEEE TIP, ICIP, VCIP, ICASSP, FNWF, QoMEX, etc.).
