At 19:00 p.m. on October 11, the 2019 Evening Party to Welcome Newcomers of "Extraordinary China and New Humanities and Arts" independently held by the School of Humanities and Arts was successfully held in the small theater of University Student Activity Center in the south campus. Under gorgeous lights, wonderful programs lit up the whole audience, but in the darkness, there were many people who silently interpreted their beauty in another way.

It had been innumerable how many nights director teachers and the student leaders stayed up until the early morning to discuss every detail of the performance, from the background of PPT to the design of invitation letter, from the statistics of the participants to the seats of the guests present, and tried to make everything perfect.

It had been innumerable how many times the singers' song performances had been practiced, from musical instrument audition to stage walking, polishing sentence by sentence. It had also been innumerable how many times the dancers had repeated the beat one by one from dance arrangement to musical timing. In order to make the recitation more orderly and the program more effective, the students of "To the Oak" recited the poem and the music remake in seconds and timing. Each sentence was passed one by one until everyone could keep full of emotion…

From the arrangement of balloons outside the venue, welcome of the etiquette team, to the distribution of fluorescent bracelets, and the ordering of meals for the staff and actors, every link cannot be separated from the careful arrangement of the staff behind the scenes. Arrangement of the microphone, handling of Musical Instruments and adjustment of sound effects, everywhere were busy figures of field staff. There was no front view of them in the program, but their hard work would be remembered by everyone.

In addition to the staff and actors behind the scenes, there were such a group of people who had given us the greatest support with their own silent actions. They would drive more than ten hours to school in the chill weather, only to watch performances of their children. They would spend more than three hours editing the text for the message video... It was they who, with their silent companionship and support, had made this evening party full of humanistic feelings and became more tender. They were parents who were always standing behind us and willing to give everything to support us. Every word of their loving exhortation made us look forward to the future more firmly.

Rehearsals were going on nervously.

Host words, lighting, stage, background, music, costumes, makeup, field affairs, maneuvers…

Whether the microphone could produce sound, whether the props were in place, whether the lights were gathered, and whether the position was correct…Under the guidance of counselors and the full cooperation of all departments, everything was ready.

At 7 p.m. on October 11, the stage which belonged to us, would finally open.

All the glittering fluorescent sticks waved in the audience, like a little bit of starlight, gathered into the night's most beautiful sky. Just like all the students and teachers who had made great efforts for this performance, every shining star was you who tried to do your best. That night, students and teachers from all schools gathered together. That night, the stage made a stunning appearance and cheered loudly. That night, the School of Humanities and Arts showed the charm of the humanities to the whole university. Every moment in that night was worth keeping.
