Representatives of students from Grade 2019 participated in the defense. Dormitory is an important place for college students to live and study, and also an important window for the construction of spiritual civilization and moral education. In order to further guide students to build the dormitory into a "clean, elegant, warm and harmonious" student home and cultivate the campus culture brand of Xidian, the School held this Dormitory Culture Festival. Students from School of Humanities and Arts actively responded to the call of the university, enthusiastically put them into the construction of dormitory culture, and showed the positive spirit of contemporary college students.

At the beginning of the conference, the moderator introduced the specific process and reward mechanism of the defense meeting for the teachers and students present. Then, all the excellent dormitory representatives came to the stage in turn to defend and introduce their elaborately decorated nest. There were star lights, dream catcher, and all kinds of warm and lovely wallpaper. Each dormitory had its own unique dormitory culture. From time to time, the audience applauded warmly for the representatives who were chatting on the stage, and the judges also gave their own score fairly according to the presentation of the representatives. The atmosphere on the scene was very warm.

According to the situation of the dormitory culture construction of freshmen, judges put forward their valuable opinions on the scene, and students learned modestly and improved in time. In the process of exhibition, all dormitories actively learnt from other excellent dormitories, and everyone benefited a lot.

The success of the dormitory culture festival activities greatly strengthened the exchange of dormitory culture, helped to create a good atmosphere of humanistic dormitory, and built a platform for students to communicate with each other, show their talents, and release their passion and dreams.
