Recently, Dr. Ajit Khosla and Dr. Zhenhuan Zhao from the School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University have been elected to the fellowship of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

Founded in 1841, the RSC is the oldest academic society of chemistry in the world as well as the largest chemical society in Europe. It is also one of the most influential international authoritative societies in the world.

The fellows include nearly 80 Nobel Prize winners. The RSC selects scientists who have made outstanding achievements in chemical research and significantcontributions to the advancement of chemical science as its members every year. This is the first time thatthe faculties of Xidian University have been elected to the RSC.
