Recently, the Chinese Service Center of Scholarly Exchange of the Ministry of Education announced the winners of the 6th “My Beautiful Encounter with China” Essay Competition for International Students in China. MERDAN SHIROV, an undergraduate from Turkmenistan majoring in Software Engineering of 2021, won the First Prize with his work Predestined Love in Han Chinese Clothing. This competition was hosted by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by the Chinese Service Center of Scholarly Exchange of the Ministry of Education. 5 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 16 third prizes and 31 excellent prizes were awarded, and the winning works were published by People’s Daily Publishing House.

The School of International Education of Xidian University actively implements the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s reply to the international students at the University of Science and Technology Beijing and Peking University. It constantly improves the educational system in national conditions for international students in China, promotes the effective integration of the first classroom and the second classroom, enriches their learning experience in China, and insists on promoting learning through competitions.
