The 27th Annual International Conference on the Theory and Applications of Cryptology and Information Security, also known as ASIACRYPT 2021,will be held in Singapore in December. The latest research achievement "Lattice-Based Group Encryptions with Full Dynamicity and Message Filtering Policy" of the Professor Chen Xiaofeng’s team from the School of Cyber Engineering is accepted by ASIACRYPT 2021,and the team will give a report at the conference.
CRYPTO, EUROCRYPT, and ASIACRYPT are known as the three top conferences in the field of cryptography, which represent the highest level of research in cryptography.
The research achievement are jointly achieved by Xidian University, Sun Yat-sen University and University of Wollongong. The first author is PhD student Jing Pan under the guidance of Professor Chen.
Cryptography is the dominant traditional discipline of Xidian University. The acceptance of this thesis stands for the international academia recognizing the cryptographic research achievement of Xidian University. At the same time, this is also an important achievement of the School's implementation of the “International Interconnection Project” which aims to build a first-class School of Cyber Engineering. In recent years, the School of Cyber Engineering has comprehensively strengthened the close cooperation with world-class cybersecurity research institutions, established a joint training system of high-level talents, actively guided students to participate in international exchanges and cooperation, and made positive contributions to the international development of the university.
