Recently, Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education announced the results of the 2020 Chinese Government Scholarship for Excellent International Students. PhD student KHAN MUHAMMAD BILAL and master student ISMAIL ADAM ABDELKHADIR of Xidian were awarded.

Excellent International Students is an annual selection of outstanding international students organized by the Ministry of Education for full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students with the purpose of rewarding excellent international students. Universities recommend candidates, the Ministry of Education organizes experts to review the candidates based on their academic performance, scientific research capabilities, and performance in China, and then determines the final list.

KHAN MUHAMMAD BILAL, Pakistani, is a 2018 PhD student in the School of Electronic Engineering. He studies assiduously, actively participates in academic forums, cultural exchanges and other activities organized by school. He also strictly requires himself in learning, with an average score of 92.86, and 5 SCI articles published in 2020.

ISMAIL ADAM ABDELKHADIR, Chadian, is a 2019 master students in the School of Artificial Intelligence. He has an average score of 92.66 and passed HSK Level 6 (Chinese Proficiency Test). Since 2019, he has served as an assistant to the international student counselor. He participated in the 2020 Global Competency Forum for Young Elites and spoke as a youth representative. He has won many honors and performed excellently in social practice and other activities, which were reported by many media such as China Media Group.
