Recently, Xidian IRobot team won second prize in the RoboMaster 2020 University Championship (RMUC) and won 6 second prizes and 3 third prizes in the Robot Tournament after one year’s hard work.
In the 2020 season, due to the impact of the epidemic, team members of IRobot cannot conduct competition design, processing and verification in the laboratory together, so they prepared the competition through weekly online meetings to report progress and do regular assessments. In the summer holiday preparation period, team members carefully sorted out and wrote reports. Instructors meticulously recorded the demonstration videos of the functions of different types of robots. Finally they submitted all relevant materials for online review and successfully won second prize in the RMUC.
RoboMaster is a robotics competition for college students from all over the world. As the first robot confrontation competition in China, RoboMaster have attracted deep attention from colleges and universities, high-tech companies and technology enthusiasts with its innovative competition method, shocking audio-visual impact, fierce and tough competitive style.
It is reported that the competition arrangements of RoboMaster 2020 have been adjusted accordingly. In order to protect the health of the participants to the greatest extent and effectively verify the results of the competition, the organizing committee and the competition consultants decided to conduct online review in this season with the approval of the superior department. Eligible teams could participate based on actual conditions. If the offline competition cannot be held as planned, the online evaluation result would be the final evaluation basis for this season.
