On September 2, 2019, invited by Xidian University,Mr.Wenhua Zhang, Director of Department of Overseas Intellectual Resources Cooperation and Science, Science and Technology Department of Shaanxi Province, and Mr. Rusty McLagan, Director of Training Programs of China Center, University of Minnesota visited Xidian University and had a detail discussion about Staff LeadershipTraining Program.

HaoChen, Director General of Division of International Cooperation and Exchanges expressed his welcome to the guests. He mentioned that Xidian University planned to imply the Training Program in order to improve the quality of management and service of Xidianso as to promote talents cultivationand double-class construction. Mr. Qingyang Ji, Vice Director General of Organization Division of the Party gave a detail introduction to the Training Program.

Mr. Rusty McLagan introduced University of Minnesota andtraining programs of China Center to participants, including stuctures of those programs and their cooperation with Chinese universities.

Mr.Wenhua Zhang gave an introduction tothe relevant national policies of overseas training programs and put forward someinstructionalsuggestions for Xidian to implement the programs.
