On September 10, 2019, Jean Zu, Dean of Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering & Science, Stevens Institute of Technology visited Xidian University. Vice President Xinbo Gao met Jean Zu, and representatives from Division of International Cooperation and Exchanges and Schools participated in the meeting.

Xinbo Gao expressed his welcome to Jean Zu and gave an introduction to Xidian University. Jean Zu said that Xidian and Stevens Institute of Technology share a lot in common with each other, both featuring in science and technology. She thought Xidian and SIT could deepen cooperations in fields of mechanic, electronics and computer science.

After the meeting, representatives of both parties signed cooperation agreements of students cultivation. Jean Zu gave a lecture ofTrend of Higher Education in USAand communicated with students who participated in 2019 SIT Summer School.
