From September 23 to September 27, with the support of the leaders of the Division of International Cooperation and Exchanges and the School of Foreign Languages, eight teachers and students from Kanazawa University came to XDU for a five-day exchange visit. The students from Kanazawa University and the 12 students from the Japanese major of the School of Foreign Languages formed a group to participate in the Exchange Camp.

Lecture on the History and Culture of Xi’an
On the morning of September 24, 14 students from Kanazawa University and Xidian University attended theLecture on the History and Culture of Xi’an, in which they gaineda preliminary understanding of the history, culture, and places of interest of Xi'an. From the afternoon of the 24thto the 25th, the students visited Shaanxi History Museum, Terracotta Warriors, Qinglong Temple, Greater Wild Goose Pagoda, Huimin Street and other places that bears historical importance and has deep connections with Japan. On the 26th, the students worked together to review the experiences of the program, and gave a wonderful summary speech and experience sharing in front of the leaders and teachers of the two schools.

As a famous research-oriented university in Japan, Kanazawa University consists of 15 schools. Among them, the medical science major, especially its cancer research institute, is spoken highly of in the medical industry in Japan. Kanazawa University is a member of the Japan Super International University Program. In addition to XDU, Kanazawa University has established exchanges with many universities including Peking University, Renmin University of China, and Beijing Normal University.
