Xidian's major of Geoscience entered the top 1% of ESI for the first time, ranking the 691th worldwide (the 49th in domestic universities) with a ranking rate of 691/697=0.991%. On the whole, Geoscience in XDU has published 766 papers, with a citation frequency of 6413 times and an average citation frequency of 8.42 times per paper.
At the same time, engineering major and computer science major rank among the top1‰worldwide, a steady increase. Specifically, the engineering major ranks the 93rd in the world, 6 places higher than the previous record, with a ranking rate of 0.633‰(93/1468). It has made to the 21st place in domestic universities, 1 place higher than the previous ranking. The computer science major ranks 27th in the world (5thin domestic universities, the top 4 being Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Zhejiang University). Its international ranking increased by 1 place, with the ranking rate of 27/463 (0.583).
