On May 27 and 28, the China Engineering Robots Competition, organized by the National Advisory Committee on Innovation Methods Teaching in Higher Education under the Ministry of Education and the International Alliance of Engineering Robots, was held in China University of Mining and Technology. This competition consists of 12 events, such as biped walking robots event, engineering innovative design event, and transfer robot event, in which about 5,000 students and teachers from 299 colleges in 20 provinces and municipalities participate in this competition. Three teams from Xidian University were awarded the second, third and merit prizes respectively.
