(By Qin Song and Jie Zhang)The 2022 Workshop on Diseases and Biomarkers was successfully held online from November 3rd to 5th. It was hosted by the School of Life Science and Technology of Xidian University and the Engineering Research Center of Molecular and Neuro Imaging of Ministry of Education, and co-organized by Division of International Cooperation & Exchanges of Xidian University and the International Joint Research Center for Advanced Medical Imaging and Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment.More than 40 research experts at home and abroad attended this workshop, including Professor Jong Seung Kim, Academician of the Korean Academy of Sciences, etc.

The Workshop shared current research results and future directions in seven aspects including diseases and biomarkers, molecular imaging, new cancer drugs, nanoprobes, microfluidic chips, machine learning, and clinical research on diseases. Experts and scholars at home and abroad held in-depth discussions with teachers and students of the School.

In the report-by-student session, three PhD candidates Bi Lin, Xiaorui Shi, and Guoqian Li from the School of Life Science and Technology delivered presentations and were awarded the excellent report certificates as encouragements for their future contributions to the development of international public health and medical service.
