Known as “The Eighth Wonder of the World”, the Terra-Cotta Warriors is the buried army replica of Emperor Qin Shihuang, the First Emperor of China, guarding the tomb of the Emperor in his after life and accompanying him in his immortality. This large-scale underground military museum is recognized as one of the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Facing the East, this museum is covering an area of 16,300 m2 with 3 pits filled with more than 8,000 terracotta warriors and horses and more than 40,000 bronze weapons.
